Privacy Policy
Care First Insurance Advisors LLC ("Care First," "we," "us" or "our") is a licensed insurance agency headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit carefirstinsuranceadvisors.com (the "Site"), request a quote, or work with one of our licensed agents; how we use and share it; and the choices you have. It applies to information collected online, by phone, by text message and by email.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, email address, mobile or home phone number, ZIP code and mailing address.
- Quote and application details: who needs coverage, whether you are currently insured, the products you are interested in, and, if you choose to apply, the information the insurance carrier requires such as date of birth, household members, tobacco use, and health questions asked on the carrier's application.
- Your communication preferences: whether you agreed to phone calls, text messages or marketing emails, and when and how you agreed.
- Payment information you provide to a carrier to bind coverage. We do not store full payment card numbers on the Site.
- Anything else you choose to tell us in a form, email, text or call. Calls with our agents may be recorded for quality and compliance.
Information collected automatically
- Consent records: when you submit a form we record the date and time, your IP address, browser and device information, the page you were on, and the exact consent language displayed. We keep this as proof of your choices.
- Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, referring site and approximate location derived from IP address, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
Information from other sources
- Insurance carriers and enrollment platforms tell us about the status of your application and policy.
- Lead vendors: if you requested insurance information on another website that shares requests with us, we receive the information you submitted there along with the consent you gave on that site.
- Data validation services that help us confirm addresses and phone numbers are accurate.
2. How we use your information
- To prepare quotes, answer your questions and help you compare and enroll in coverage.
- To contact you the way you asked us to (see Section 4) about your quote, your application and your policy.
- To send marketing about insurance products, enrollment periods and offers, only where you have consented or where the law otherwise permits.
- To submit your application to the insurance carrier you choose and to service that policy afterward.
- To keep records of your consent and our communications as required by law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and state insurance regulations.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site, to prevent fraud and to comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only as described here:
- Insurance carriers, general agencies and enrollment platforms when you ask for a quote or apply for coverage, so they can quote, underwrite, issue and service your policy.
- Service providers that work on our behalf and are bound to use the information only for our purposes: website hosting and form processing, our customer relationship management and dialer system, telephone and text messaging platforms, email delivery, call recording and quality review, analytics, and data validation.
- Affiliated and downline agencies and licensed agents who work with Care First to serve your request under the same rules described in this policy.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, and regulators such as state departments of insurance, when required.
- Legal and safety: to comply with law, subpoenas or court orders; to enforce our terms; or to protect the rights, property or safety of Care First, our customers or others.
- Business transfers: if Care First is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to this policy.
Text messaging opt-in data. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your personal data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages. Your mobile phone number and SMS consent will not be sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Your choices: calls, texts and emails
Every contact method on our quote form is a separate, optional, unchecked box. You decide which ones to allow, and you can change your mind at any time.
| Channel | What you agreed to | How to stop |
|---|---|---|
| Phone calls | Calls from Care First and its licensed agents at the number you gave, which may use an automatic dialing system, prerecorded or artificial voice, or AI-assisted voice, even if you are on a Do Not Call list. Calls may be recorded. | Tell any agent, call (888) 302-0503, or email info@carefirstinsuranceadvisors.com with "Do Not Call" and your number. We honor requests within 10 business days and keep them on our internal Do Not Call list. |
| Text messages | Quote follow-ups, reminders, account notices and marketing texts, message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply. Full terms: SMS Terms. | Reply STOP to any text. Reply HELP for help. |
| Emails | Emails about your quote, and marketing emails if you checked that box. | Click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or email us. We will still send transactional emails about an active quote or policy. |
Consent to calls, texts or emails is never a condition of purchasing insurance. Withdrawing consent for one channel does not automatically withdraw it for the others, so tell us each one you want stopped, or ask to be removed from everything and we will do that.
5. How long we keep information
We keep quote requests, consent records and call recordings for at least five years to meet TCPA record-keeping expectations and state insurance rules, and policy records for as long as required by the carriers and regulators we work with. Do Not Call requests are kept indefinitely so we can honor them. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
6. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses essential cookies to operate and may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the Site. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you by name. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and vendor agreements. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Never send Social Security numbers, medical record numbers or payment card details through the Site's contact forms.
8. Children
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, and to opt out of targeted advertising or "sales" of personal information (we do none). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email info@carefirstinsuranceadvisors.com or call (888) 302-0503. We will verify your identity before responding, and respond within the time the applicable law allows (generally 45 days). You may authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf.
